Where this policy applies
This policy covers the public website at vicin.io and the signed-in service at app.vicin.io. The Privacy Policy explains Vicin's broader collection and use of personal information. The Terms of Service govern use of the service.
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text value a website stores in your browser and receives on later requests. Browser local storage keeps a value in the browser without sending it with every web request. Vicin uses both technologies only for the purposes listed below.
Public website storage
The public website stores your cookie choice so it does not ask on every page. Google Analytics stays off until you select I agree. Vicin configures advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization as denied.
After analytics consent, Google Analytics may receive page URLs, session activity, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with the public website. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses during collection to determine approximate location and that IP addresses are discarded before Analytics data is logged. Signed-in application cookies
app.vicin.io does not use the public-site Google Analytics tag. The signed-in application uses the secure, host-only cookies below for account access, form protection, verification, password recovery, and Google connection return paths.
Your cookie choices
Select I agree to allow Google Analytics on the public website. Select Necessary only to keep optional analytics off. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the choice. Withdrawing analytics consent removes Vicin's GA4 cookies and reloads the page when the Google tag already ran. Your browser settings can also delete or block cookies and clear local storage. Blocking strictly necessary app cookies may prevent sign-in, form submission, verification, password recovery, or Google connection flows.
Changes to this policy
Vicin will update this policy when its cookies, browser storage, analytics configuration, or related legal duties change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version.
