What are the businesses near me doing?

Not a list of everyone in your category. The businesses that actually appear where your customers are searching, and what has changed about their position.

What it reads

Named sources, not "AI".

  • The businesses returned at each point of your local grid.
  • Their visible profile: category, rating and review count as Google reports them.
  • Their movement across your grid between measurements.

What you get

  • Where each competitor ranks against you across the grid, point by point, not as one city-wide position.
  • The links and citations they hold that you do not, and the directories where they appear and you are missing.
  • Who appears where you do not, ranked by how often.
  • Who has entered or left your area since the last measurement.
  • How your visible profile compares to theirs on the things Google actually shows a searcher.

The decision it feeds: Where you are losing position to a specific business rather than to the market, and whether that is recent.

What it cannot see

Every Vicin page carries this section. It is not an afterthought and it is not hidden.

  • Vicin sees what Google shows a searcher. It does not see anyone’s spend, their conversion rate, or anything inside their accounts.
  • A business appearing in your grid is a competitor for that search, which is not always a competitor for your business.
  • Review counts and ratings are a snapshot at the time of measurement.
