MCP for Local SEO

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your business using the search performance, website traffic and AI visibility data already in Vicin. Follow up in the same conversation, with the source figures behind the answer.

Your business data, in the conversation

Model Context Protocol, or MCP, connects an AI assistant to external tools and data. Vicin’s MCP lets your assistant read the business information in your account as you work through a question.

Vicin retrieves the figures. Your assistant explains them, compares the evidence and helps you decide what to investigate. You can ask a follow-up without exporting another report or pasting another table.

Start with the question behind the numbers

Name the business and the period you want to review. Ask your assistant to use Vicin, show the evidence and separate observations from possible explanations.

Find opportunities in organic search

Compare query and page performance over the selected period. Use impressions, clicks, position and click-through rate to choose the pages worth investigating.

Use Vicin’s Search and Rank Trends data for my business. Which queries and pages have lost clicks, and which have impressions but few visits?

Investigate a change in website traffic

Read Search Console and Google Analytics evidence together. Search impressions, search clicks and website sessions measure different parts of the visit.

Compare my search performance, website referrals and page engagement for the last 28 days. Which queries, pages and referring sources deserve a closer look?

Prepare for a client conversation

Use monthly comparisons and seasonal patterns to prepare a clear account of the changes. Keep measured results separate from your explanation of why they happened.

Compare my completed months in Vicin. What changed from the same months last year, and what should I investigate before my next client meeting?

Understand AI recommendations

Investigate the recorded questions, recommended businesses and cited pages across Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Gemini.

Use my saved AI visibility results. Which questions recommend competitors, and which sources appear in those answers?

These are prompts you can use, not sample results. Each answer depends on the business, connected sources and saved data in your account.

Read across the evidence in Vicin

Your assistant can combine supported views in a conversation. Source dates, selected periods and missing-data states provide context for its analysis.

Organic search performance
Explore Google Search Console queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position through Search and Rank Trends.
Website traffic and behavior
Investigate Google Analytics referrals, engagement, pages, behavior and geography. Review which sites send visitors and how those visitors use your website with Vicin’s website performance tools.
AI visibility
Review saved AI visibility results, the questions checked, competing businesses and cited sources. Follow the evidence behind a business mention.
Trends and seasonal patterns
Compare completed months with the same periods last year. Review seasonal patterns and keep next month’s estimate separate from measured results.
Local market context
Read the last saved Area & nearby and Market Opportunity evidence to understand the local conditions around a business.

Keep the source and the date with the answer

A saved AI visibility check, a completed reporting month and a recent website visit cover different periods. Ask your assistant to name the source and time range before drawing a conclusion across them.

A change in two metrics can suggest a question to investigate. The figures alone do not establish what caused the change. Check the explanation against the underlying evidence before acting. Explore Google Maps visibility by location with the Local Rank Checker.
